A Benefit for CR’s Intercollegiate Athletics Program

The College of the Redwoods Dinner & Auction is a benefit for CR’s Intercollegiate Athletics Program. This is the college’s largest community event and takes place every year on the second Thursday of August. More than 400 community members attend and celebrate the Athletic Program’s successes and raise critical funds to support more than 250 student athletes.

College of the Redwoods provides opportunities for student athletes to continue their education and pursue excellence in their respective sports.CR offers thirteen sports programs: baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, football, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s track & field, women’s volleyball, and women’s tennis.In 2023-24, CR will be adding men’s and women’s wrestling.

More than 200 businesses, organizations, and families donated items or packages for the 2022 event, raising $122,000.
